This weekend I had to go out and find a happy place. There has been so much chaos and sadness I was in dire need of some good conversation, some good food to help me smile again. I was able to take a few outfit photos of this summer date night look in near some awesome graffiti art while waiting to be seated for dinner.
I absolutely love these high waist bell bottom pants I picked up from Forever 21, similar here. They bring me a Peace and Love 70’s vibe especially with my current big hair phase that I am going thru at the moment. I just can not seem to stop pairing them with different looks. It is an affordable boho chic 70’s look for a warm night out with your boo. A perfect breezy blouse and jean combination. I paired them with a classic white sheer blouse a similar could be found here, I am guessing it is in store only or sold out online because I just brought it two weeks ago. The tribal print statement necklace was under $11!!. For my shoes, I went for a chunky heel, similar here, because they have been my go-to shoe style this whole summer. I was able to put on my new favorite summer sunglasses, to hide the fact that I did not have on any make-up and still have a complete look. I have to admit that this summer has been completely about comfort so far for me. I opted out of carrying a handbag, as of lately have been into just my Rebecca Minkoff phone case/wallet, lazy lately I guess, lol.
In light of all the recent tragedies, this is my personal way of getting myself out of a sad space. There is so much to say in regards the recent tragedies in America, but it all leads back to us as all being human, we all love and we all hurt, and we all need to realize that we are all HUMAN, and should be treated as such. And remember,
“War is not the answer, for only love can conquer hate…”-Marvin Gaye
