I am super excited to announce that I have decided to curate a new segment on my blog called “Ballin on a Budget”.  In these blogs I will post only outfit combinations that will cost a total of $100.00 or less with items brought from some of my favorite places to shop. My goal is to give ladies ideas of how to be plus size look amazing, and spend pennies for an entire look. This first look was inspired by this adorable wrap dress I purchase in store, here. I can’t even believe that it only cost me $19.90, can you. I mean the it actually a pretty thick cotton blend that I was shocked did not fall to shreds once I washed it but it is still in great condition. The shoes were purchase from my old account, which is we all know that none of there shoes exceed, $39.99, super cute alternative. The cream and gold statement necklace that I adore, just $19.90, along with the gold bracelet was purchased a in store at Forever 21,now this is not the exact same bracelet but the cost is the same, $7.90. I think that this look can easily be pulled off at a gala, dinner party, jazz club, or date night.

Now lets total this up:

Dress:                                      $19.90

Shoes:                                     $39.99

Necklace:                                $19.90

Bracelet:                                  $7.90

*BONUS* Lipstick:              $1.99

TOTAL:                                 $89.68

(Also, if you want me to get technical and add tax its around 11% were I live, which would be around $9.87, still under budget, 🙂  )

WINNING!!! I really hope that I can do this Ballin on a Budget Series on here at leas twice a month. Let me know what you think and if you’d like to see more “Ballin on a Budget” looks.

Thanks for stopping by!!

Love, Peace, and Curves Boo!!!

  1. Great blog! Do you have any recommendations for
aspiring writers? I’m planning to start my own website soon but I’m a little lost on everything.
Would you propose starting with a free platform
like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many
options out there that I’m completely confused ..
    Any ideas? Kudos!

    1. Hey boo! Thanks for stopping by my blog 🙂 I went thru the same thing last year when I started blogging, you’re right there are tons of options. I went with wordpress’ paid for option because I wanted my website to be all mine, content, ads, etc. If you go with the free versions you always have the option to convert when feasible for you. But I say research, reasearch, research first. Take notes and compare the pros and cons for your blog’s content. Have fun, I know I do!
