Adjustments-Making Your Plus Size Summer Clothes Fall Friendly

Sometimes we have can just say out with the old and in with the new. Today’s post I will revisiting some of my spring/summer favorites and re-purposing them to make them fall friendly. I know it is not always easy to just say new season lets go shopping so let just work on making adjustments by making your r plus size summer clothes fall friendly. I have 4 tips to revamping your summer closet to tweak it for the fall.

  1. PUT IT ALL OUT THERE. Take all of your favorites out or closet or drawer. Organize them into categories, i.e. tops, skirts, pants, jeans, etc. This will help you know what you have and determine what you may need to add in order accommodate the climate changes.

  1. DO SOME RESEARCH. Put in a little work. Open some magazines for trends that you like. Watch some of you favorite old movies inspiration, or look at your favorite actor or actress or any other entertainment personality for inspiration, as well. Colors, and accessories go a long way in changing it up a bit

  1.  MAKE A LIST. This list does not have to be long and consist of everything under the sun that you can think of, but just a few things can go far. Look at the items you have and what you need to add to them in order to turn them in to the looks that you would like to have for the fall. This can be jackets, scarves, hats, boots, or booties. You’d be surprise what changing shoes can do to an outfit.

  1. HAVE FUN WITH IT. Sometimes we are naturally overly critical of ourselves and what we wear. Remember to put things on that speak to you! You want to always be yourself in what ever it is that you combine in a outfit look. Its cool to like someone else’s look but make sure to do you at the same time. If you feel like you like a look but its to bold or not bold enough flip it! Do you boo 🙂

This outfit is a little old with a little new. I’ve worn this cropped top before, here, and I decided to pair it with my new favorite faux leather pants, cute alternatives here. I added this new Melissa McCarthy duster, here, that came in my Gwynnie Bee subscription this month but it is now on sale for just $47.77. For a little pop of color I added my all time favorite hat that was gifted to me on my birthday, similar here, and my old red pumps, seen on the blog before a couple times and still available here. An inexpensive similar pair can be found here.  I also paid it with a custom faux snakeskin ombre black to white choker, found here.

I hope these 4 tips were helpful 🙂

Love, Peace, and Live Life Curvy,
